On Thursday, June 8 at 6:00 p.m., the exhibition of Seres Fifos by Carlos Blanco opens in the Espacio Princesa, located at the MEAM headquarters.
The work of Carlos Blanco (Madrid 1983) can be broadly divided into two clear lines of job; an eminently abstract line, and another, the one that concerns us in this exhibition, a neofigurative one. Since in this case, the exhibition setting was going to be the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM), the selection of works has been made in accordance with the space, and with figurative painting as a thread driver.
The exhibition "Seres Fifos" is a compilation of recent works created since 2019, carried out in the different places in the world where Blanco has lived and worked, in this case in Berlin, London, the Canary Islands and Madrid. On this very special occasion, two unpublished sculptures will be presented in collaboration with the artists Jesús Martín and Sara Salmanpour.
