The exhibition Tzompantli is born from the desire to create a collective dialogue around one of the most universal and ancient themes: death.

More than an archaeological remnant, this symbol becomes here a bridge between times and perspectives — a way to reveal new meaning from the contemporary gaze of what was once offering, memory, and a bond with the sacred.

The thread connecting this exhibition is a shared reflection: we all have something to say about death.
Within it intertwine hope, tragedy, the beauty of being remembered, and the certainty that everything that disappears is also transformed.

Tzompantli is, in essence, a contemporary altar: an invitation to look at death without fear, to contemplate its luminous shadow as part of the life cycle, and to recognize, in each work, the inexhaustible pulse of life.
