Born in Philadelphia (United States), Violetta Curry has lived in Spain for most of her adult life (25 years) and has Spanish nationality. His music is rooted in the black music tradition of his hometown, where Paul Curry, his father, was a pianist who worked with many of the world's great jazz figures.

Born in Barcelona, ??Jaume Vilaseca studied piano and harmony at the Conservatorio Municipal de Barcelona and at the Liceu. Since the release of the album "Aqui i allà", Jaume leads a Jazz-Fusion quartet that has maintained its roots in jazz, seeking rhythms and melodies close to Latin music and flamenco. In 2012, Jaume has allowed himself the freedom to explore new grounds with his latest album "Coming Home", fruit of the intense collaboration with the great sitarist Ravi Chary and disc in which also collaborates.

Violetta and Jaume have decided to combine their musical sensibilities to create an exceptional duet. They walk comfortably through various styles of music - jazz, blues and NuSoulJazz. In their shows, "Re-Generation" or "Honoring My Roots", Violetta and Jaume invite the public to accompany them on a journey that will review the history of American black music in its various facets, from the beginning with The blues to the most current genre of NuSoulJazz - each style re-generating the next. Through these shows it is understood how black music has really influenced all the contemporary music from rock and pop, to chill out music and lounge. Violetta and Jaume seek to recognize the somewhat forgotten African American roots that support contemporary music with a selection of styles with which weave soundscapes that delight the viewer.
