Two acclaimed musicians with decades of experience on stage come together to celebrate the timeless classics of “Americana Music”.

Miguel Talavera is a highly experienced and widely respected musician on Barcelona’s music scene. He has performed as a “sideman” with a wide range of national and international artists and groups, including The Supremes, The Platters, Big Mama, Angela Brown, La Vella Dixieland and La Orquesta Mondragón, among others. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with artists such as Raimundo Amador, Santiago Auserón, Dyango, Kenny Neal, Tom Principato and The Carter Brothers. He is currently involved in several musical projects, performing as a soloist as well as with different ensembles.

Kike Méndez discovered his passion for music through his admiration for Elvis. In 1988, he travelled to the United States, visiting Memphis and Chicago, with the aim of immersing himself in the world of American music. During his stay, he recorded two songs at Graceland Recording Studio in Memphis and had the opportunity to connect and perform with local bands.

Since returning to Barcelona, Kike has continued to perform at venues throughout Spain, playing with bands such as Travellin' Band, Blue Moon Boys and Crawfish. In November 2001, he recorded the well-known song “King Of The Road”, featured in an Audi commercial, for a double CD compilation of television advertising music. He has also appeared on a number of radio and television programmes.

With their extensive knowledge and passion for “Americana Music”, these two musicians bring together an outstanding repertoire in a dynamic, varied and high-energy concert.

• All tickets include access to the exhibitions, the concert and a beer. Please arrive between 17:00 and 17:50!
• Seats are assigned according to the order in which reservations are made. Once seats have been assigned, it will not be possible to change your seating location.
• Access to the concert hall is from 17:40 to 18:55. Once the concert has started, no further access to the hall will be permitted.
• The exhibition must be visited before the concert. We recommend arriving at around 17:00.
• The exhibition visit takes approximately 45 minutes.
• There is no need to print your ticket.
• The museum reserves the right to cancel any unpaid reservation 5 minutes before the concert begins. We therefore recommend arriving at the ticket desk 30 minutes in advance.
• For tickets purchased in advance: after 18:00, refunds can no longer be requested. If the ticket holder has not informed us before the concert that they are going to be late or unable to attend, their tickets may be reassigned to another visitor from 18:00 onwards.
