Since the beginning of the 20th century, women have played a significant role in the spread of blues, acting as chroniclers of an entire era through their musical creativity. The themes of their songs involved everyone, and they laid bare their emotions through music.

In a concert presented in duo format, Big Mama Montse (Montse Pratdesaba) on vocals and Sister Marion (Miriam Aparicio) on piano bring us closer to the feminine side of the blues. Thanks to them we will reconnect with the melodies of an era when women’s voices resonated in theaters, towns and cities, bringing to the public the message of experience, sometimes expressed in an intimate and melancholic way and at other times with wit and extroversion.

• All tickets include access to the exhibitions, the concert, and one beer. You must arrive between 5:00 pm and 5:50 pm!

• Drinks are not allowed inside the concert hall.

• If tickets are no longer available online, they may be purchased at the museum’s box office depending on availability. In this case, it is advisable to book in advance by calling 933195693 or by emailing taquillas@meam.es

• Seats are assigned according to the order of reservations. No seat changes will be possible once assigned.

• Access to the concert hall will take place from 5:40 pm to 6:00 pm. Once the concert has started, entry will not be allowed.

• The exhibition can be visited either before or after the concert, bearing in mind that the museum closes at 8:00 pm.

• The exhibition tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

• Showing the voucher or booking on your mobile phone is sufficient; no printing is required.

• The museum reserves the right to cancel unpaid reservations 5 minutes before the concert begins. For this reason, we recommend arriving at the box office 30 minutes in advance.

• For tickets purchased in advance: after 6:00 pm it will not be possible to request a refund. If the ticket holder has not notified, prior to the concert, their delay or inability to attend, the tickets may be reassigned to another visitor from 6:05 pm onwards.
