Originally from Singapore, Rey Pereira has extensive experience as a singer in blues and soul bands in Singapore, France, Belgium, and Spain. At the age of ten he began listening to records by Muddy Waters, B.B. King, and Howlin’ Wolf from his brother’s collection. He now accumulates twenty-five years of experience, which has allowed him to perform at blues festivals in France, Belgium, and Holland, where he has met great musicians such as Buddy Guy, James Cotton, and Robben Ford.

David Giorcelli, for his part, is one of the leading exponents of blues and boogie-woogie piano. Thanks to his skill, technique, and dynamism, he enjoys great recognition not only throughout Spain but also across Europe, where he regularly performs with Wax & Boogie.

With a combined musical experience of nearly 50 years, Rey Pereira and David Giorcelli promise an electrifying evening of blues and soul that will lift the audience from their seats. Let yourself go and enjoy the show!

• All tickets include access to the exhibitions, the concert, and one beer. You must arrive between 5:00 pm and 5:50 pm!

• Drinks are not allowed inside the concert hall.

• If tickets are no longer available online, they may be purchased at the museum’s box office depending on availability. In this case, it is advisable to book in advance by calling 933195693 or by emailing taquillas@meam.es

• Seats are assigned according to the order of reservations. No seat changes will be possible once assigned.

• Access to the concert hall will take place from 5:40 pm to 6:00 pm. Once the concert has started, entry will not be allowed.

• The exhibition can be visited either before or after the concert, bearing in mind that the museum closes at 8:00 pm.

• The exhibition tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

• Showing the voucher or booking on your mobile phone is sufficient; no printing is required.

• The museum reserves the right to cancel unpaid reservations 5 minutes before the concert begins. For this reason, we recommend arriving at the box office 30 minutes in advance.

• For tickets purchased in advance: after 6:00 pm it will not be possible to request a refund. If the ticket holder has not notified, prior to the concert, their delay or inability to attend, the tickets may be reassigned to another visitor from 6:05 pm onwards.
