The James Sedgwick Blues Extravaganza is a journey to the heart of the blues and its connections. It begins in the rural blues of Mississippi and the southern United States, then travels through the sounds of New Orleans and Chicago, embracing the influences of soul and R&B.

The project is led by James Sedgwick, a Canadian musician with decades of experience performing roots music in various countries across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Alongside him is Juan Carlos Buchan Ayala, a bassist of extraordinary sensitivity, with an elegant and subtle touch and an unforgettable groove.

• All tickets include access to the exhibitions, the concert, and one beer. You must arrive between 5:00 pm and 5:50 pm!

• Drinks are not allowed inside the concert hall.

• If tickets are no longer available online, they may be purchased at the museum’s box office depending on availability. In this case, it is advisable to book in advance by calling 933195693 or by emailing taquillas@meam.es

• Seats are assigned according to the order of reservations. No seat changes will be possible once assigned.

• Access to the concert hall will take place from 5:40 pm to 6:00 pm. Once the concert has started, entry will not be allowed.

• The exhibition can be visited either before or after the concert, bearing in mind that the museum closes at 8:00 pm.

• The exhibition tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

• Showing the voucher or booking on your mobile phone is sufficient; no printing is required.

• The museum reserves the right to cancel unpaid reservations 5 minutes before the concert begins. For this reason, we recommend arriving at the box office 30 minutes in advance.

• For tickets purchased in advance: after 6:00 pm it will not be possible to request a refund. If the ticket holder has not notified, prior to the concert, their delay or inability to attend, the tickets may be reassigned to another visitor from 6:05 pm onwards.
