    Beyond its spectacular collection of contemporary figurative painting, the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) organizes a wide range of activities and initiatives. One of these is the classical music series held every Saturday afternoon.


    On this occasion, we will feature the artists:

    • Hasmik Isahakyan, soprano. 
    • Tamara Alexeeva, mezzo-soprano. 
    • Daría Piltyay, pianoforte.

    "En... chant"
    Vocal lyrical concert

    Hasmik Isahakyan,
    soprano.
    She trained in piano and lyrical singing at the State Conservatory of Yerevan. Postgraduate studies in operatic performance. Since 2005 she has developed an international artistic career, performing in renowned auditoriums and theatres in Spain and other countries. She has performed leading roles in the Mozartian, bel canto, and Romantic repertoire. She resides in Barcelona, where she maintains an intense artistic activity. Since 2015 she has collaborated with the choir of the Liceu Theatre, participating in various productions. In addition, she has an extensive recital career in festivals such as Peralada and the Royal Opera of Muscat.

    Tamara Alexeeva, mezzo-soprano
    She trained in lyrical singing at the “A. Boito” Conservatory of Parma, Italy. Winner of the “Iris Adami-Corradetti” competition in Padua, the “Giuseppe Verdi” competition in Parma, and “Voci verdiane” in Busseto (Italy). Her professional experience includes leading roles of the international repertoire at the following theatres: Teatro Comunale di Cagliari, Teatro San Carlo of Naples, Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, Comunale di Bologna, Stadttheater Bern (Switzerland), Opéra de Lyon (France), A. Kraus Festival in Las Palmas (Spain), among others...

    Daria Piltyay, pianoforte

    She graduated from the Higher Conservatory of her hometown: Yekaterinburg, Russia, as well as from the prestigious Gnessin State Musical College in Moscow. She continued her professional studies with Professor Stanislav Pochekin at the Conservatori Superior del Liceu. Winner of the Manresa, Vilafranca del Penedès, Rome International Competition, Ricard Viñas Competition, San Sebastián Prize and BPA Award. She has performed in various concert halls in Spain, France, and Italy.

     


    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS):

    • All tickets include access to both the exhibitions and the concert.

    • If tickets are sold out online, they can be purchased at the museum’s box office depending on availability. In this case, it is recommended to book in advance by calling 933195693 or emailing taquillas@meam.es

    • Seats are assigned according to the order of reservation. No seat changes will be allowed once assigned.

    • Entry to the concert hall will take place between 17:50 and 18:00. Once the concert begins, no further entry will be allowed.

    • The exhibition can be visited either before or after the concert, keeping in mind that the museum closes at 20:00.

    • The exhibition tour takes approximately 45 minutes.

    • Showing your ticket or reservation on your mobile device is sufficient; printing is not necessary.

    • The museum reserves the right to cancel any unpaid reservation 5 minutes before the start of the concert. Therefore, we recommend arriving at the box office 30 minutes early.

    • For advance ticket purchases: no refunds will be available after 18:00. If the user has not notified the museum of their delay or absence before the concert, the ticket may be reassigned to another visitor starting from 18:05.
