Fede Aguado and Danny del Toro represent the purest essence of the blues in a city like Madrid. The duo was founded in 1994, and Danny joined in 2018.

Fede Aguado is a 21st-century troubadour who, without losing sight of the oldest country blues tradition, knows how to communicate and bring his music to the audience with such honesty and charm that he immediately earns their involvement and complicity. Their repertoire consists of original compositions with lyrics in Spanish that aim to bring originality and authenticity to the national blues scene—a blend of styles drawing from blues, rock, funk, country and folk, always performed with deep feeling and conviction.

Danny del Toro, a Seydel endorser since he first picked up the harmonica, decided to embark on the American adventure in 2007, playing in legendary Chicago clubs and sharing the stage with James Wheeler, Billy Branch or Nelly Travis...

In 2010, his passion for the blues took him to London, where he met and later collaborated with the band 24 Pesos, led by Julian Burdock, with whom he recorded the 2014 album Double Dare. In 2015 he founded his own Swedish band, Del Toro Blues Band, touring the best clubs in Scandinavia.

Besides these projects, he regularly accompanies international artists on their tours in Spain and across Europe, such as Julian Burdock, Jonn del Toro, Little G Weevil, Terry “Harmonica” Bean, Alvon Johnson, Bex Marshall, Marco Cinelli, among many others.

Their repertoire is entirely original and sung in Spanish. Fede’s lyrics speak of everyday, close-to-home stories, coloured with humour and irony, all within a traditional blues framework. Four albums and another on the way are the result of these years of work: Con el Corazón en la Mano (1999), Dos Balas Perdidas (2007), Veinte Años No Es Nada (2014) and Juntos y Revueltos (2015), the latter recorded live alongside Barcelona’s Txus Blues & Jose Bluefingers.

A dynamic and varied show, always infused with audience interaction, where authenticity, honesty, magic and passion reach their peak in the live performance of these two brothers of the blues. Their concert at the MEAM is therefore a unique chance to discover and enjoy the artistry of these two blues musicians.

• All tickets include access to the exhibitions, the concert, and one beer. You must arrive between 5:00 pm and 5:50 pm!

• Drinks are not allowed inside the concert hall.

• If tickets are no longer available online, they may be purchased at the museum’s box office depending on availability. In this case, it is advisable to book in advance by calling 933195693 or by emailing taquillas@meam.es

• Seats are assigned according to the order of reservations. No seat changes will be possible once assigned.

• Access to the concert hall will take place from 5:40 pm to 6:00 pm. Once the concert has started, entry will not be allowed.

• The exhibition can be visited either before or after the concert, bearing in mind that the museum closes at 8:00 pm.

• The exhibition tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

• Showing the voucher or booking on your mobile phone is sufficient; no printing is required.

• The museum reserves the right to cancel unpaid reservations 5 minutes before the concert begins. For this reason, we recommend arriving at the box office 30 minutes in advance.

• For tickets purchased in advance: after 6:00 pm it will not be possible to request a refund. If the ticket holder has not notified, prior to the concert, their delay or inability to attend, the tickets may be reassigned to another visitor from 6:05 pm onwards.
