DESCRIPTION:
A special concert featuring acclaimed international artists and young talents from the Académie des Petits Musiciens (Paris).
The MEAM Museum is honored to host an exceptional evening where classical tradition meets the future of music.
On stage, world-renowned soloists will perform alongside a new generation of young musicians from the Académie des Petits Musiciens, a Paris-based music school dedicated to early artistic development. The event celebrates the transmission of culture across borders and generations: from established international performers to children taking their first steps on a professional stage.
Artists
Aigerim Matayeva Blanchart — Piano
Originally from Kazakhstan, Aigerim is an acclaimed pianist who has performed at major venues such as the Luxembourg Philharmonic, Salle Cortot in Paris, and the Scène Nationale Le Grrranit. Winner of numerous international competitions, she has over twelve years of teaching experience and has guided very young students —some as young as three— toward remarkable international achievements.Aigerim Shuster — Historical and Plucked String Instruments
A multi-instrumentalist specializing in ancient instruments dating back to the 7th century. She has performed in iconic venues such as Théâtre de la Ville Sarah-Bernhardt, the Berlin Philharmonic, UNESCO, and the Brucknerhaus. In 2022, she was recognized as one of France’s most innovative music-entrepreneurs.Ekaterina Zaytseva — Classical Guitar
An international concert guitarist and official artist for Hannabach and Gewa Music, she has performed at the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic, Warsaw Radio Hall, and Teatros del Canal in Madrid. Her artistry blends refined classical guitar technique with influences from flamenco and world music. She has shared the stage with legends such as David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, Tomatito, and Estrella Morente.Académie des Petits Musiciens
Founded in Paris, the Académie guides children from their earliest musical steps (from babies to age 10). Its innovative pedagogy combines early childhood development, emotional intelligence, and classical training. The academy seeks to bridge heritage and innovation, helping children discover music as a language that transcends cultures. For this concert, ten young musicians aged 5 to 10 will perform works by Mozart, Bach, Tchaikovsky and others, sharing the stage with the masters who inspire them. Why This Concert Matters
This evening is more than a performance: it is a meeting between heritage and future, a celebration of cultural dialogue between Paris and Barcelona, and a tribute to the power of music to inspire all ages. The MEAM’s contemporary setting will frame an eternal message: music lives on when passed from one generation to the next.
