    MEAM is one of the most exciting contemporary art galleries in Barcelona. Every Saturday night you can experience excellent performances of classic music in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with a unique ambiance.

    The Saturday evening concerts in MEAM are held in exceptionally beautiful Renaissance buildings, the Palau Gomis.

    • Each concert starts at 18.00. We recommen to be there 1.5 hours earlier to visit the museum.

    Ximena Agurto, soprano

    She studied at the "National Conservatory of Music of Peru" with postgraduate studies at the "Conservatori Liceu" in Barcelona and later was doing her studies in perfection at the "Centro de Perfeccionamiento Plácido Domingo".
    She debuted in Barcelona singing the Messiah of Händel, Mass in C by Beethoven and Carmina Burana as the soloist invited by the Vallès Symphony Orchestra between 2011 and 2013.
    She debuted in Munich, Germany singing in a Gala Verdi at the Hubertussaal-Schloss- Nymphenburg,
    Among the main halls where FET concerts stand out, "Auditori Torrent de València", "Palau de la Música de Barcelona", "National Auditorium of Music of Madrid", "Nieuwe of Littéraire Societeit de Witte" The Hague ", Holland , "Bolivar Hall" London, and "Hall of the Transylvania Philharmonic" in Romania
    She made her debut at the Sao Carlos Theater in Lisbon, Portugal with the role of Rosaura of Zarzuela "Los Gavilanes", from the Farandula Theater in Sabadell, Barcelona with the role of Elvira of "the Italian in Algiers", at the Teatre de la Zarzuela de Madrid with the role of Marieta de la zarzuela "La Dogaresa", at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia de San Sebastián, Donostia with the role of Marina of the "Marina" and the Principal Theater of Castellón with the role of EENA of the zarzuela "The barber of Sevilla".
    She has sung  the role of Pamina in the "Little Magic Flute", production of the Gran Teatre del Liceu since the year 2014 making performances in the main theaters of Spain with a lot of success.
    She is the winner of the First prize ALS song competitions, "Torrelavega 2010", "Jacinto Guerrero 2012" and "Mirabent Magrans 2013", MATEIX winner of the Third official prize and 3 Extraordinary prizes in the "Francesc Viñas Competition 2014" and Second official prize at contest of zarzuela "Ana María Iriarte 2014".

     

    Jordi Romero, piano

    He was born in Vigo (Galicia), obtained the title of Professor Superior of Piano paper Superior Conservatory of Music of the Liceu of Barcelona under the tutelage of the Teacher Ramon Coll.
    Specialized in accompaniment and chamber music, his artistic solidity leads him to discover and work in many different and complementary fields that range from the ancient music where he obtains the National Youth Award for musicals, the Opera; vocal repertoire professor at the Liceu Conservatory, master classes, international singing courses and contests, co-repetitions of Operas and his two CDs edited; with the soprano Yolanda Auyanet in Italy and in Spain with the soprano Cristina Obregón.
