Born in Uruguay in 1992 and raised in Argentina from a very young age, Alberto Burguez was part of the Buenos Aires blues scene for approximately ten years. At the age of 30, he moved to Barcelona, where he currently lives. He has worked and shared the stage with renowned international artists such as James “Boogaloo” Bolden (B.B. King’s trumpeter), Kirk Fletcher, Lurrie Bell, Slam Allen, Sax Gordon and Jimmy Burns.

During his years in Argentina, he was a member of the project “Martin Burguez & El Club del Jump” for eight years, recording three albums and touring throughout Latin America and Europe. In his final years in Buenos Aires, he released his album “Stay Awake”, beginning his career as a solo artist, singer and songwriter. He currently takes part in various projects in Barcelona, standing out for his versatility in performing in different formats, whether as a solo artist, in a trio, or as part of larger-scale projects.

His musical style ranges from traditional blues to boogie woogie, swing and the New Orleans piano style, with influences spanning from Otis Spann and Albert Ammons to James Booker, Professor Longhair and Ray Charles.

Víctor Puertas is a powerful harmonica player who also plays guitar, piano and Hammond organ. Although he is best known as a harmonica player, he is also a highly accomplished pianist, performing with great sensitivity and deep emotion.

Together with his brother Santos Puertas, he has shared a love for the blues since they were young, forming the duo The Suitcase Brothers and performing at the most important blues festivals throughout Spain. They have also travelled and lived in the United States for a period of time. Víctor lived in Washington, DC, and Pere in Austin, Texas. There, they learned by playing alongside some of the finest musicians on the blues scene, including Jerry Portnoy, Joe Filisko, Gary Primich, John Cephas and Phil Wiggins, Steve James, James Harman, Paul Rishell and Annie Raines, to name just a few.

On this occasion, and exceptionally, Víctor puts aside his harmonicas and, together with Alberto, offers us a piano duel that creates a truly magical atmosphere on stage, with a wonderful sense of connection and communication between the two artists and the audience.

• All tickets include access to the exhibitions, the concert and one beer. You must arrive between 5:00 pm and 5:50 pm.
• Seats are assigned according to the order in which reservations are made. Once seats have been assigned, it will not be possible to change your seat location.
• Access to the concert hall will be available from 5:40 pm to 6:55 pm. Once the concert has started, no admission to the concert hall will be permitted.
• The exhibition must be visited before the concert. We recommend arriving at around 5:00 pm.
• The exhibition visit takes approximately 45 minutes.
• There is no need to print your ticket.
• The museum reserves the right to cancel any unpaid reservation 5 minutes before the concert begins. We therefore recommend arriving at the ticket desk 30 minutes in advance.
• For tickets purchased in advance, refunds will not be possible after 6:00 pm. If the ticket holder has not informed the museum of their delay or inability to attend before the concert, the tickets may be reassigned to another visitor from 6:00 pm onwards.
