Bewteen chords with Manel Sánchez & Jordi Roca

Jordi Roca is born in Sant Feliu of Codough. At the age of 8 he started the studies of violin of the hand of Ferran Saló in Caldes de Montbui. Later he studied with Joan Morera for three years. Across the Cervera summer courses, he met the violinist Victoria Fernández, for which one he felt a very narrow musical affinity and he went to Girona to study with her. The following year he went to the Conservatory of the Liceu to realize the studies of top grade with Gonçal Comellas and Manel Porta.

After the violin studies, he felt attracted by the viola, so he began studying it with Joan Fèlix in Girona and further on with Ashan Pillai in the Liceu. He is part of the recent created Unesco Orchestra of Barcelona, directed by Gonçal Comellas.
