DESCRIPTION:
Bolero is memory turned into song. It was born to describe those states of the soul—waiting, sorrow, passion—when the voice needs to sing what the heart cannot explain.
Each of these songs holds an intimate story that crosses borders and generations. This program explores bolero as a shared emotional territory between Latin America and the world.
Performing this repertoire is an act of listening again—allowing the melody to breathe, the text to speak truthfully, and silence itself to sing through memory.
