Beyond its spectacular collection of contemporary figurative painting, the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) organizes a wide variety of activities and initiatives. One of these is the classical music cycle that takes place every Saturday afternoon.

DESCRIPTION:

This concert presents a repertoire of classical guitar jewels with emblematic works by Latin American and European composers, highlighting the rich rhythmic and expressive language of their music. The first part features the virtuosity of Albéniz and the emotional depth of Barrios and Pujol. The second part brings the unique color and style of Villa-Lobos, Jirmal, and Bielsa, connecting tradition with modernity.

• All tickets include access to both the exhibitions and the concert.

• If tickets are sold out online, they can be purchased at the museum’s box office depending on availability. It is recommended to reserve in advance by calling 933195693 or emailing taquillas@meam.es.

• Seats are assigned in order of reservation. Seat changes will not be allowed once assigned.

• Access to the concert hall will be between 5:50 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. No entry will be allowed after the concert has started.

• The exhibition can be visited before or after the concert. Please note the museum closes at 8:00 p.m.

• The exhibition visit lasts approximately 45 minutes.

• It is only necessary to show the ticket or reservation on your mobile; printing is not required.

• The museum reserves the right to cancel unpaid reservations 5 minutes before the concert starts. Therefore, it is recommended to arrive at the box office 30 minutes in advance.

• For tickets purchased in advance: refunds are not possible after 6:00 p.m. If the user has not communicated delay or inability to attend before the concert, the ticket may be reassigned to another visitor from 6:05 p.m.
