Born in Uruguay in 1992 and a resident of Argentina from a very young age, ALBERTO BURGUEZ was part of the Buenos Aires Blues scene for about 10 years. At the age of 30 he moved to Barcelona, where he currently lives.
He has worked and shared the stage with outstanding international artists such as James “Bogaloo” Bolden (BB King’s trumpet player), Kirk Fletcher, Lurrie Bell, Slam Allen, Sax Gordon, and Jimmy Burns.
During his time in Argentina, for eight years he was part of the project “Martin Burguez & El Club del Jump”, with whom he recorded three albums and toured Latin America and Europe. In his last years in Buenos Aires, he released his album “Stay Awake”, starting his career as a soloist, singer, and songwriter.
He is currently involved in various projects in Barcelona, standing out for his versatility in developing different formats, whether as a soloist, in trio format, or in large-scale projects.
His musical style ranges from traditional blues to boogie woogie, swing, and the New Orleans piano style, with influences spanning from Otis Spann to Albert Ammons, James Booker, Professor Longhair, and Ray Charles.PAUL SAN MARTÍN was born in San Sebastián in 1979. Holding a degree in jazz piano, his great passion was and still is the blues. His first contact with this style came through the British rhythm & blues groups of the 1960s. He has been performing since the age of 15 and is now fully immersed in the pianistic tradition of the blues, mastering styles such as stride and boogie woogie. In 2011 he released his first solo work, “Tracks”, on the Gaztelupeko Hotsak label, an album for piano and voice.
Together with his band he has participated in different blues festivals and, for five consecutive years, he performed at the prestigious San Sebastián Jazz Festival. In the summer of 2007, the band also released its first album.
Among his influences are musicians such as Alan Price, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roosevelt Sykes, Memphis Slim, Otis Spann, Sunnyland Slim, Dr John, Professor Longhair, and James Booker.
Throughout his long career, Paul San Martín has collaborated with highly relevant artists, including Nico Wayne Toussaint, Otis Grand, Gerry Hundt, Lluís Coloma, James Armstrong, Ñaco Goñi, Slam Allen, Sax Gordon, Chris Ruest, and the legendary bluesman Billy Boy Arnold. In 2013, Paul released “Paul’s Mood”, a piano and voice album, a new pianistic immersion into the different styles of the blues.
In 2023 he won, together with the band Noa & The Hell Drinkers, the European Blues Challenge held in Chorzów (Poland).

Seats are assigned according to the order of reservations. It will not be possible to change seats once they have been assigned.

Access to the concert hall will take place from 5:40 pm to 6:00 pm. Once the concert has started, entry will not be permitted.

The exhibition can be visited either before or after the concert, bearing in mind that the museum closes at 8:00 pm.

The exhibition tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

The museum reserves the right to cancel unpaid reservations 5 minutes before the concert begins. For this reason, we recommend arriving at the box office 30 minutes in advance.

For tickets purchased in advance: after 6:00 pm it will not be possible to request a refund. If the ticket holder has not notified, prior to the concert, their delay or inability to attend, the tickets may be reassigned to another visitor from 6:05 pm onwards.
