From a very young age, KECO PUJOL’s goal has been none other than to idolize, through his voice and piano, the essence of Black music. To this end, over the years he has developed a unique and powerful style, full of passion and feeling, based on the greatest masters of blues, rhythm 'n' blues, soul, and gospel. Robert Johnson, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, or Etta James come to life again in the voice and keys of this true master of Black music.
Classically trained pianist from Barcelona, SISTER MARION (Miriam Aparicio) was captivated by roots Afro-American music. Her first steps in blues piano were guided by pianists Lluís Coloma and Julio Lobos.
Years later she became pianist, singer, and director of her own gospel group Masoulfield, through which well-known figures of the music scene have passed. She has been the pianist of Tota Blues Band, with whom she has participated in several national festivals, and she has also become the pianist of Big Mama Montse, with whom she performs in acoustic format a journey through the repertoire of the great blues divas, leading them to participate in various festivals and concerts throughout Spain. She is also part of the female trio Womblues, alongside Big Mama and Sweet Marta, and of the group Indigo Blues, a formation entirely made up of women.Blues with KECO PUJOL & SISTER MARION
