Han Xuejun

Temporary exhibition

The gap between civilizations: horizon and margins. An exhibition of Han Xuejun.

Han Xuejun’s oil paintings almost show the living conditions of the people in the minority areas in the border areas. Although modern society has entered the 21st century, although the wind of globalization has spread all over the world, there are always some people who are still far from modern civilization and modern life, and their lifestyles are still extremely primitive. But no matter how bad of the people's living conditions are, people's desire for happiness, the pursuit of love, and the yearning for good things will not change because of the different living environment...

Han Xuejun observes and examines the living conditions of different nationalities and different ethnic groups from a global perspective, and explores the humanity's light with the artist's keen sense of smell, thus making people living in relatively developed and enjoying modern civilization pay attention to those being Another group of people that modern civilization ignores and forgets.
