From a very early age Tòfol Martínez shows his passion for Blues and black music in general. At the age of fifteen he sets up his first blues band. Since then he has participated in festivals, made countless concerts, recorded albums, traveled on tour in Europe, also putting his talent in collaborations with other musicians. Despite his long career, he maintains the same enthusiasm and the same desire to play this wonderful music that heals the soul.
His latest work "No Panic" is a blues album, recorded live, without a trap, full of hope and love! The philosophy of this album is, without fear! You can do things with fear or with love. With fear is not an option! No panic!
That is why his concerts become live and energetic shows, where he commands the blues although sometimes he flirts with soul or funk.
For this special concert at the MEAM, they present a semi-acoustic formation with Agustí Borrell on percussion, Gerard Nieto on hammond and on guitar and Tòfol Martínez on guitar and vocals.
