Beyond its spectacular collection of contemporary figurative painting, the  MEAM programs a large number of activities and initiatives. 
We invite the public to immerse themselves in a unique sound journey, where, as usual at the MEAM, music intertwines with art and history.

Every two Sundays, from April to June, at 6:00 pm, the museum will open its doors to offer a complete cultural experience, where the public can enjoy an exclusive concert and explore our exhibitions. This initiative seeks to bring live music to all audiences, promoting artistic diversity in a unique environment.

This cycle is conceived as a journey through different musical traditions, representing the sounds that have defined cultures and eras. Each concert will be a window to a different sound universe, connecting the music with the historical and artistic context of the museum. The proposal is to celebrate the richness of musical styles and their ability to evoke emotions and stories from different times and places.

On this occasion we will count with the artists: 

•  Ana Lorenzo, vocals.
•  Federico Vannini, guitar.

STYLE: Flamenco.

DESCRIPTION: 
Merging tradition with personal authenticity, through this project Ana Lorenzo seeks to express her most sincere way of feeling flamenco, without prejudice or limitations but always with a deep respect for its origins and roots, where emotion and honesty become the soul of each note.

The repertoire goes through the traditional flamenco palos, with her own compositions that bear the cantaora's personal stamp. In addition, it includes a theme of more modern inspiration in which she dialogues with other styles.

In this concert, Ana Lorenzo's singing and Federico Vannini's guitar come together in an intimate format, without artifice, to offer a raw and authentic interpretation, playing with the visual and emotional aesthetics of the show, giving the listener the feeling that corresponds to each lyric and melody. The honesty of the interpretation and the genuineness of the proposal are essential, since we are not only looking for technical perfection, but the emotional connection with the audience, in this moment we will understand the truth of feeling.

• All tickets include access to the exhibitions, to the concert and a complimentary glass of cava.
• If there are no more tickets available on the website, they can be purchased at the museum box office depending on capacity availability. In this case, it is preferable to book in advance by calling 933195693 or by sending an email to taquillas@meam.es.
• The locations have a number assigned according to the order of reservations. It will not be possible to make any change of location once the seats are assigned.
• Access to the concert hall will take place from 5:50 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Once the concert has started, you will not be able to access the room.
• The exhibition can be visited both before and after the concert, taking into account that the museum closes at 20:00.
• The tour to the exhibitions lasts approximately 45 minutes.
• It will be enough to have the voucher or reservation on the mobile and not print it.
• The museum reserves the right to cancel the unpaid reservation 5 minutes before the start of the concert. For this reason, we recommend showing up at the box office 30 minutes in advance. 
• In the case of tickets purchased in advance: After 6:00 p.m. it will not be possible to opt for a refund. If the user of the tickets has not communicated, before the concert, the delay or impossibility of attendance: these may be assigned to another user after 6:05 p.m.
