Cold patinas for sculpture

In this intensive three-day course, we will learn to make patinas to apply on terracotta and plaster, achieving different chromatic effects that will give the pieces a high-quality finish.

The course will focus on the imitation of metallic qualities (bronze, iron, etc.) through the application of tempera to shellac and glazes with pigmented wax.
As a complement to these techniques, we will experiment with the application of egg tempera to extend the chromatic possibilities of the sculpture.
