Friday 15 March, 18.00 h: Blues with:
FEDE AGUADO & DANI DEL TORO
Fede Aguado, guitar, voice. Dani del Toro, harmonica
Fede Aguado and Dani del Toro represent the purest essence of the street blues of a city like Madrid.
Fede Aguado is a minstrel in the 21st century who, without losing sight of the oldest tradition of country blues, knows how to transmit and approach his music with such success that they immediately get the full implication and complicity of the audience. A repertoire formed by their own compositions with Spanish lyrics that aim to give a touch of originality and authenticity to the national blues, in a mixture of styles that feed on blues, rock, funk, country or folk, always played with a huge feeling and conviction.
Danny del Toro, Seydel endorser since he began playing the harmonica, decided to live the American adventure in 2007, playing in legendary Chicago clubs and sharing the stage with James Wheeler, Billy Branch or Nelly Travis ....
On his return he continued playing with his band Cotton Gang, with which he has two albums released: "Burnin'Hot" and "Live at Clamores Jazz".
In 2010 his concern for the blues took him to London, where he met and later collaborated with the band 24 Pesos led by Julian Burdock with whom he recorded the album "Double Dare" in 2014. In 2015 he founded his band in Sweden called Del Toro Blues Band with which he toured the best clubs in the Scandinavian country.
In addition to these projects he usually accompanies international artists in his tours of Spain and Europe, such as Julian Burdock, Jonn del Toro, Little G Weevil, Terry "Harmonica" Bean, Alvon Johnson, Bex Marshall and Marco Cinelli among many others.
The authenticity, honesty, magic and passion that exudes the live music of these two brothers of the blues has its climax in the live, so their concert at the MEAM is an occasion to know and enjoy the good work of these two artists of blues.
