Contemporary japanese realism · Opening Ceremony
The MEAM will present for the first time in Europe the work of the most prestigious contemporary Japanese artists, in the field of figuration and realism. In an open to the public, the museum will host the exhibition 'Contemporary Japanese Realism', which brings together the 60 most outstanding works of the permanent fund of the Hoki Museum in Tokyo, the first museum in Japan dedicated exclusively to the current realistic painting.
During the months that the exhibition is open, parallel activities will be carried out, such as workshops, workshops and guided visits:

This exhibition is carried out thanks to the collaboration of the Japan Foundation on the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Spain and Japan.
