MEAM is one of the most exciting contemporary art galleries in Barcelona. Every Saturday night you can experience excellent performances of classic music in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with a unique ambiance.
The Saturday evening concerts in MEAM are held in exceptionally beautiful Renaissance buildings, the Palau Gomis.

Tiziana Tagliani, Harp
Born in Brescia (Italy), she has completed her training at the Conservatory of Music in her hometown in Anna Loro's class. Later she studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester under the guidance of David Watkins and in London with Gabriella Dall'Olio.
Tiziana has been a member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, has played and currently collaborates with the majority of Spanish orchestras and European groups such as the BBC Philharmonic and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, among others.
In 2002 she won the audition for the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra (Denmark), and in the same year, the theater of Altemburg-Gera (Germany) of which she has been solo harpist until moving to Spain. Since 2011 she has been guest soloist harpist of the Symphonic Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu de Barcelona.
She has done didactic activity in the Youth Orchestra of Andalusia, the Youth Orchestra of Catalonia and the Young National Orchestra of Spain. From 2013 to 2015 she has been a specialist teacher of the Arpa's Orchestral Repertoire and the Harp Ensemble of the Higher Conservatory of Music of Aragón.
In the 2017/2018 season of the Navarra Symphony Orchestra she will perform Mozart's concert for flute and harp in C major, accompanied by the ensemble.
Xavier Relats, flute
He was born in Barcelona. Hhe studied flute with Claudi Arimany and later in France and Switzerland with Patrick Gallois, Raymond Guiot, Gilles Burgos, Pierre Wavre and Günter Rumpel. He also received master classes from Jean-Pierre Rampal, Aurèle Nicolet, Andràs Adorjàn, Wilbert Hazelzet and Barthold Kuijken. His distinctions include the First Prize of the Interconservatories Contest Ville de Paris in 1984, the Gold Medal of the National School of Music of Bourg La Reine in 1986, the First Prize of Virtuosity at the Conservatory of Lausanne in 1989, and the Diploma de Concertista of the Musikhohschule of Zurich in 1991. Between 1989 and 1991 he was hired by the Bieler Symphonieorchester (Switzerland), and since then he is a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of Navarra. With the pianist Jordi Masó he has recorded two CDs: one with music by Catalan composers (Picap) and another with the integral of the work for flute by Paul Hindemith (ASV). He has also made recordings for the RSS (Radio Suisse Romande), Danmarks Radio, RNE; TVE and Tele 5. He performs regularly as a soloist and with various chamber ensembles, as well as the first flute of several orchestral groups. In the field of teaching, he has been a professor of flute at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Vilaseca-Salou (Tarragona) and the Conservatory of Music of Pamplona.
