The passion for the chamber music and the search of new roads took her to establish a fluid dialogue between the classical repertoire and the art of our time.
She participated in the Sacro 2016 Art Festival of the Madrid Community with a concert in the Auditory 400 of MNCARS.
She recently presented with the pianist Andreu Riera the cd “winter in Flame” with the cello and piano of Bride and Chopin sonatas. The critic has highlighted its versions of “intensity, exquisite brilliance and delicate romantic expression” (La Vanguardia), “the virtuosity and a perfect balance at the service of a sincere expressiveness and an inner lyricism that they recreate with mastery and sonorous beauty” (El Pais).
During summer 2015 Amparo lacruz performed in the chamber music festivals of Holand “Peter de Grote” (Groningen), “Concerten bij kaarslicht” (Vlieland) and Emmy Verhey Festival (Zaltbomel), and participated in autumn2015 in a European tour of 25 concerts together with the prestigious violinist Emmy Verhey, the violinist Giles Francis and the pianist Paul Komen.
Amparo Lacruz has been a member of the Trio Kandinsky since 1999, with which he did extensive tours around Europe, América and Asia. An important discography already has given witness of his activity: in 2009 he received the magazine prize CD COMPACT as the best chamber music disc of the year for his recoding of Joan Guingona’s work. The “Schoenberg and Barcelona” plus “Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms” CDs have received excellent critics.
Their concerts got transmitted for RNE, Catalan Music, Radio France, RAI, Súdwestrundfunk, National Finland Radio, Holland Radio 4, Euro radio, TV3 and the Mezzo Tv channel.
At the moment she is violoncello and chamber music teacher of the Superior Conservatory Liceu of Barcelona.
