    Guillermo Turina, baroque cello

    Guillermo began his cello studies at the age of three with Arantza López as teacher, following the Suzuki method. He continued his education with María de Macedo and Miguel Jiménez, until he entered the Superior Music Conservatory of Aragón, where he studied for his Bachelor of Music degree, specializing in the cello, under the tuition of Angel Luis Quintana, Maite García and David Apellániz. He also attended advanced musical courses with Jaap ter Linden, Anner Bylsma and Pieter Wispelwey.

    After his bachelor studies, he studied a Master of Music Degree in Orchestral Performance, in the Barenboim-Said Foundation in Seville, as well as the diploma of the  Superior Classical and Romantic formation for Orchestra in Saintes, under the tuition of Hillary Metzger and Christophe Coin. He broadened his studies Superior Music School of Catalonia, specializing in the Baroque cello, with Bruno Cocset, Emmanuel Balsa, Andrew Ackerman and Emilio Moreno, with the highest possible grades. He also studied the Master of Music Degree in Musicology at the Autonomy University of Barcelona.

    During his career he has played as principal cello in orchestras such as the Young National Orchestra of Spain, the Young Atlantique Orchestra, the Nederlandse Orkest Ensemble Academie and the European Union Baroque Orchestra, where he has worked with masters such as Philippe Herreweghe, Mark Minkowski, Jordi Savall, Rachel Podger and Lars Ulrik Mortensen. He collaborates regularly with national and international ensembles such as Sphera Antiqva, Regina Ibérica, Ensemble Nereydas, Temperamento, Ímpetus, Os Músicos do Tejo and Vespres d’Arnadí. His activity as a soloist has taken him to play both solo recitals and orchestra concerts in various concert halls throughout Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. He is a founding member of the ensemble Academia de las Luces and member of ATRIUM ensemble, La Tempestad and Paperkite.

    On the other hand, his work as a musicologist has resulted in two recent publications: the Critical editions and study of the cello methods written in Spain at the end of the 18th century, by SEPTENARY editions, and the book La música en torno a los hermanos Duport in the catalogue of Editorial Arpegio in Sant Cugat, Spain. In September 2016 his CD Francesco Supriani: Principles to learn to play the cello with soprano Eugenia Boix and harpsichordist Tomoko Matsuoka has been published in the Dutch label COBRA records.

     

    Eva del Campo, key                                                            

    She is born in Barcelona. After her piano formation, she initiated her harpsichord studies with Jordi Reguant y Marju Vatsel in different Conservatories of Catalonia. Later, she graduated at the Department of Ancient Music at the CNR of Toulouse (France) with Yasuko Bouvard and François Saint-Yves. She graduated also the Top Grade of Key with Béatrice Martin at the Superior Music School of Catalonia. She completed her formation with several courses and masterclasses in Italy, France and Spain with Enrico Baiano, Kenneth Weiss, Maggie Cole, Anne Catherine Vinay and Rinaldo Alessandrini.

    She played in different Festivals in Europe (Italy, France, Albania, between others), at the Festival of Musical Antigua “Castle of Aracena” (Huelva), the Cycle of Musical Antigua Box San Fernando (Seville - Cadiz), the Auditorium of Barcelona, the Music Palace in Barcelona, Festival of Musical Antigua “Eloy Zapico“ (Asturias), Network of musical Youth of Catalonia, Auditorium Pau Casals, with different formations like Caldara Ensemble, Ensemble Continuum, Spiritus et alme.

    She played in different bands, between them, Historical Band “Academy 1750” (Festival of Torroella de Montgrí), the Baroque Orchestra of Barcelona and others like Band of Catalan Chamber, Symphonic Band of the Asturias, doing concerts with directors like Enrico Onofri, Ottavio Dantone, Alfredo Bernardini, Gilles Colliard, Paul Woodwin, Massimo Spadano and recording different CDs, she also made a CD as a soloist for Musical Column with the band Girona XXI directed by Manuel Valdivieso. Recently, Harmonia Mundi has recorded for the prestigious record stamp, Four Stations of Vivaldi with the OBB and Gilles Colliard like violin soloist.

    Today she is a Teacher of Key in the Professional Conservatory of Music of Badalona and Granollers (Barcelona).
