    Beyond its spectacular collection of contemporary figurative painting, the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) organizes a wide range of activities and initiatives. One of these is the classical music series held every Saturday afternoon.


    On this occasion, we will feature the artist:

    • Ingrid Cusido, piano.

    DESCRIPTION:

    This concert features pianist Ingrid Cusido, an artist who has secured an important place on the international music scene, having won several International Awards in Vienna, Bonn, Berlin, New York, California, and London.

    Ingrid Cusidó is an outstanding Spanish pianist, born in Terrassa and based in Barcelona, who has earned a significant reputation in the world of classical music at an international level. Her career has been shaped by numerous international competitions —where she has received major recognitions, including first prizes in some of them.

    She is regularly invited to recital series across Europe and other countries. Her extensive repertoire includes works by renowned Spanish composers such as Albéniz, Granados, and Falla. She has been awarded in international piano competitions in Vienna, Bonn, Berlin, New York, and Lugano, receiving the First Prize in two of them.

    She has performed recitals and appeared as a soloist with orchestra in many countries, including Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia, the United States, Hong Kong, and Russia. She has appeared in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall (New York, USA), the Musikverein (Vienna, Austria), Congress Park Hanau (Germany), the Auditori de Barcelona (Spain), the Palacio de Congresos de Ávila (Spain), Teatro Principal de Guanajuato (Mexico), Casal del Metge (Barcelona), Ateneu Barcelonès, and Philharmonia Hall in Russia, among others.

    Recently, she has performed solo piano recitals at the Festival Cervantino in Mexico, Festival Ceiba, Festival del Pitic, the University of Guanajuato Academy Festival, the Oaxaca Festival, Paraguay’s Todo Mozart Festival, and the Festival in Honor of Pope John Paul II in Uruguay.

    Ingrid has also given memorable recitals for charitable organizations such as the Foundation for the Protection of the Mother and K.Mon.

    She has recently taken part in projects dedicated to the interpretation of Albéniz’s Suite Iberia, the 12 Danzas Españolas, Granados’s Goyescas, and Falla’s Fantasía.

    Her upcoming projects include a tour in Mexico in May, a concert at Carnegie Hall in New York, and tours in Argentina and Mexico.

    • All tickets include access to both the exhibitions and the concert.

    • If tickets are sold out online, they can be purchased at the museum’s box office depending on availability. In this case, it is recommended to book in advance by calling 933195693 or emailing taquillas@meam.es

    • Seats are assigned according to the order of reservation. No seat changes will be allowed once assigned.

    • Entry to the concert hall will take place between 17:50 and 18:00. Once the concert begins, no further entry will be allowed.

    • The exhibition can be visited either before or after the concert, keeping in mind that the museum closes at 20:00.

    • The exhibition tour takes approximately 45 minutes.

    • Showing your ticket or reservation on your mobile device is sufficient; printing is not necessary.

    • The museum reserves the right to cancel any unpaid reservation 5 minutes before the start of the concert. Therefore, we recommend arriving at the box office 30 minutes early.

    • For advance ticket purchases: no refunds will be available after 18:00. If the user has not notified the museum of their delay or absence before the concert, the ticket may be reassigned to another visitor starting from 18:05.
