"Mis amigos me hicieron una sorpresa. Este museo se situa enfrente del museo Picasso en uno de los principales palacios de la Barcelona Napoleònica, el Palacio Gomis. En la primera planta, hay una sala que se usa para los conciertos. Esa noche hubo un pequeño concierto de ópera y Zarzuela con la soprano Cristina Fernández y el pianista Josep Buforn. Realmente disfruté este concierto en un entorno precioso, muy íntimo"

Vale la pena visitar el MEAM para disfrutar de sus instalaciones y de la impresionante colección de pintura y escultura figurativa contemporánea. Los conciertos ofrecidos en la sala principal son una buena alternativa al bullicio de las calles que rodean este maravilloso palacio.

Fue una gran experiencia encontrar este museo. Lo vimos al pasar y nos llamó la atención porque solo presenta de arte figurativo, lo que es muy raro de ver en arte contemporáneo. Es un edificio histórico muy bien mantenido. Destacan las piezas escultóricas. De primera.

"Si hay un museo que no se puede perder en Barcelona, ?? es este lugar. Contiene tesoros del arte internacional contemporáneo (ni demasiado clásico ni demasiado moderno). Si te gusta el arte, debes ver este museo. Artistas estadounidenses, italianos, españoles y franceses están representados. Se encuentra a 20 metros del Museo Picasso."

"El Museo de arte moderno se encuentra en frente del Picasso, pero, según yo, es mucho más bonito, cautivante y emocionante!!! Las obras son increíbles! Algunas parecen fotografías en lugar de pinturas al óleo, otras dan miedo y otras dejan indiscutiblemente con la boca abierta! Que más decir: ha sido una de las atracciones que me han gustado más de Barcelona!!!"
