SWEET MARTA & THE BLUES SHAKERS | Friday's Blues

Sweet Marta & The Blues Shakers” is a band led by Sweet Marta on vocals and harmonica, being the only female harmonica player in an all-male blues harmonica scene in our country. Together with the Blues Shakers, a band with musicians of wide musical trajectory, they become a sweeping locomotive of the blues.

Currently they have established themselves as one of the great blues groups in Spain, having released the albums “Come Love”, “Hoodoo Girl Blues” and “Hard Times”, touring countless blues festivals not only in Spain but also in France and other parts of Europe.

Sweet Marta & The Blues Shakers have a great mastery of the blues language, a lot of authenticity when it comes to transmit it and show that the roots of the blues are still alive interpreting artists like George Harmonica Smith, Koko Taylor, Sonny Boy Williamson II and Junior Wells among others, also adding their own songs to their repertoire.

Without a doubt Sweet Marta & The Blues Shakers give meaning and authenticity to the genre they play. Thanks to the powerful voice and electrifying harmonica of this great blues diva and the splendid support of the greased line-up of the Blues Shakers, they are a band of great quality and an enormous specific weight.
