04 Jul 26Hausmusik Piano Four Hands | Saturday Classics
This piano four-hands duo, formed by mother and son, revives the tradition of Hausmusik: making music at home, among friends, sharing it and experiencing it closely.
In Central European homes of the 19th and early 20th centuries, many of the genres we now consider canonical in instrumental and vocal music were developed and disseminated; much of today’s concert repertoire was first heard in private salons.
In this concert, the duo will perform a selection of works by major composers from the Romantic and 20th-century repertoire.
On this occasion, we will feature the artists:
- David Aguilar & Elke Sanjosé, piano
WORKS OF: Robert Schumann, Manuel de Falla, Serguéi Rachmaninov, György Ligeti.
